1976 coupe headlight vacuumed override

Hi all
Whilst relentlessly carrying on with the strip down I notice the vacuum override switch is completely missing and only two hoses come through the fire wall and go straight to the light switch??Can anyone show a diagram of what should be there,as I am beginning to think it’s been removed as there is a straight through union fitted in to one of the hoses going to the switch.All of this became evident only when I removed the left hand section of the dash housing the speedo etc,I think there should be some sort of plate fitted beneath the steering wheel with the override switch fixed to that

One thing I forgot, is that the open Tee Piece on my car operates the heating and ventilation system.
