1986 Corvette Indianapolis Pace Car replica.

Because of medical reasons, it's with great sadness I'm selling my Indianapolis Pace Car replica which I've owned for over thirty year's, with only dry weather use during my ownership.
It is in excellent condition having covered only 49,565 miles, and will be sold with a large amount of history including the owners handbook signed by Bobby Rahal, winner of the '86 Indianapolis 500.
It can be viewed in Hove. I'm asking £16,000.

A mistake in my opinion by Chevrolet was calling all 1986 corvette convertibles “pace cars” the actual pace car was yellow with a graphite interior and black stayfast top.
Very simple door graphics were supplied for the dealers to put on at customers request.

Not knocking the cars at all, but imo only the yellow examples are true pace car replicas.

Hi Barry, the car will be sold with it's original jack, a tonneau cover for protection from the sun, maintenance manuals, and 30+ year's of my ownership history.
I've only ever used it for dry weather enjoyment, and the suspension, and wheel arches are polished.

Although the tonneau came from California, the car was originally delivered to Florida, the Toy Store dealer logo always raises a smile at shows. The car was on a personal plate upto two months ago.
