Anyone know where i can get my seats recovered and the seat slide assembly sorted as it is temperamental

Sports or standard seat? Leather or (rare) fabric? Is the seat foam in good condition?

should have sports seats but they were changed before I bought the car to
Standard seats, leather, probably needs new foam and refurbished seat runners

As you have probably seen/know, you can buy new leather covers and foam from the US, including covers already mounted on the foam, but its expensive. Look on the web at Ecklers, MidAmerica etc. Keith at Eurovettes could help you on that. Used to be able to get "faux" and "drivers quality leather" which was cheaper.

Might be cheaper to just buy the foam, and get them covered over here, with what might be better quality leather anyway? Does anyone know, is there any way you can treat old seat foam to pump it back up to its original shape/strength?

Can’t really do a lot with old foam unfortunately. Once it’s on the way out that’s it..if you strip the seats down, there’s not a lot of point putting the old foam back. A good upholsterer should be able to cut replacement foam on site.

Leather seat covers run about $900, vinyl ( leather look ) $400. From most corvette suppliers stateside.
Plus shipping, and then the dreaded tax.
