2 Tone Autumn Red/Maroon 1981

So this weekend I've started removing the rear windscreen trim with a tool from Halfords !!!!
Quite easy really !! And I now have a Satin Black trim (see below)
Very pleased
Next will be the trim below the doors, easier as they just unscrew and have been off before...
Windscreen could be fun !!!

There is another 81 that has the same colour as mine should be. Are you still around mate.
If so are the outer door window trims black or chrome ????

I wish whoever did the rear screen on my 81 had used the proper tool and been more careful, i think they must have used a screwdriver.

Hi maxuk15. I'm not sure if I'm the chap your refering to... but i also own a 2 tone autumn red / maroon 81. I can confirm the outer door window trims should be chrome as in my pic. Interesting to know another member has the same spec 81 as me .

Was yours the one on Car SOS a few years ago ????
And have we spoken about the orange/red body stripes etc ????
If so Hi... and I'm putting mine back to 2 tone, currently mono colour.

Please can you take some pics of the sticker line and the paint lines around the wheel arches where they curve??
Also what is the measurement of the paint line from the edge of the wheel arch ??
