After several years of great service I've decided to sell all the parts that make up a copy of the Hamer Car Lift
The Hamer was sold at over £1000 with the main advantage being that it could be dismantled and stored away neatly leaving the garage clear of normal 'in place' lifts.
I had seen the Hamer online so employed an MOD contractor to fabricate a copy, but adopting extra safety features over the original design. One of the company directors owned classic cars so fully understood what was required.
The lift is currently sitting with our C5 on it following winter tinkering and oil change etc.
I'm approaching 75 this year so although I'll miss the convenience of using the lift every winter while the car is SORN'd, the parts are very strong and therefore heavy, now's the time for someone else to do the oil changes.
