C1 buy and restore

Hi all.I am continuing my search for C1 ,at home and away.Latest lead takes me to 1962 ,numbers matching ( alledgedly) body tatty ,needs some repair( minor) and full paint ,soft top tatty ,carpets rough ,wonderbar radio.good frame .just trying to assess what to offer for it .Also what would good driver quality repaint/ repair cost in uk.

Is this a UK car or US located. If it’s USA I would try to get any work done over there as parts and labour are much cheaper and generally more knowledgeable than over here. Think in your position I would still be looking in the US for a suitable car.

Thanks ,I have decided to give this one a miss ,i am looking at one in oaklahoma now.Its not so much picking one its more worried about paying for it and getting ripped off ,also shipping as have heard some horror tales
