C3 US history research

I have a stack of invoices for the time my car has been in the UK, from 2014, but absolutely nothing for the time in the US. I am sure there will be people in the group that can add some additional information here and correct any mistakes, but I am trying to research the history of my C3 454 convertible, manual gearbox and at least work out where is was built and sold when new.

From the chassis number I have decoded the following, which at last ties in with the car I have.

1 - Chevrolet
Z - Corvette
67 - Convertible
W - LS5 - 454-cid with dual exhausts
2 - 1972
S - Assembled in St Louis, Missouri

From the order sheet found in the folder of invoices (I assume this was removed the from petrol tank by the previous owner when a new tank was fitted), I have the following information. The order sheet is pretty tatty, and has some tears and holes so some of this information may not be totally accurate.

So far I have managed to find the following

Date received - 13th May 1972
Date of production - 26th May 1972
Order number - XGF633
Dealer Zone - 01 (traced to Michigan - to be verified)
Dealer code - 172 (traced to Draper Chevrolet, based in Saginaw Michigan - to be verified)

Paint - 972 Classic White
Trim - 421 Leather Saddle
The colour is also known as DARK SADDLE. The code 421 is for dark saddle with deluxe interior.... leather seats, cut-pile carpets, carpet w/metal trim inserts on the door panels.

There are then a list of option codes on the order. The descriptive text is almost unreadable, but the codes are just about legible. From the research online I think the codes relate to the following items - does this make sense?

19467 - Base Convertible - $5533
2VGV5AA - Rear Axle 3.36 ratio
2VZW4AA - Base transmission
2VC07AA - Auxiliary hardtop - $273
2VA31AB - Power Windows - $85
2VC05AB - Convertible top
2VC08AA - Vinyl Roof Cover - $158
2VF62HU - Front springs
2VG32EA - Rear springs
2VK19AK - Air Injector Reactor
2VLS5A - 270hp Quadrajet 454 V8 - $294
2VL08DA - Engine emission control CHI
2VPU9AA - White Letter tyres F70 x 15 - $43
2VOL5AA - Radio AM-FM Stereo - $283
2VZK8AP - Tire pressure label
2VZQ9AA - Rear axle performance ratio

There is no trace of the AIR on my car, so it was either never fitted or removed. I am intrigued by the L08 code which appears to be an optional order for Chinese export Emission Control - I wonder if that was a dealers way of getting around the restrictions to sell a car without the US restrictions in states where it was not yet fully compulsory.

Any information or guidance on how to fill in the missing US history would be welcome.
