I'm not usually star struck, but I was on Saturday!
I was on the grid at Daytona before the start of the Rolex 24 and got talking to this fellow Brit. Turns out he has a brand new C8 Z06 which I had actually seen arriving into the car park just behind me earlier in the morning and it was all black with the Florida plate JB7 on it. He had spent Friday driving the Z06 around the Sebring race circuit about 200 miles south of Daytona. The JB it turns out stands for Jason Bonham - son of legendary rock drummer John Bonham! Jason has played drums for Led Zeppelin when they re-formed, he's played for Phil Collins, drummed with Slash, you name it he's done it.
