OPP stands for Ontario Provincial Police in Canada.
They are the equivalent to a state trooper here in the USA
They must make a ton of money handing out costly traffic tickets

I remember the first time I got pulled over by the police in Germany. It was late December in 1977 just turned 18. I was in a 1976 Trans Am not even going fast, just cruising along the autobahn watching the fuel gauge going down at a alarming rate ( those 400’s liked a drink) the police were in a Porsche 911 Turbo. My GB sticker had come off so that’s why I got a pull.
