Correct bolt required

Can anyone help me please? I own a 1982 Collectors Edition and the bolt is missing to attach the horn to the cross member. The nut is welded to the inside of the cross member. I have tried a number of bolts but they did not fit correctly, and I'm afraid I will strip the thread if I force it. As the horn and bracket fit directly in front of the radiator I want to make sure it fits tightly. Does anybody know the size of the bolt and who might sell such a small item. I have included two attached photos for ease of reference.

Looking at my 69 it’s either 1/4” or 5/16” UNC depending on which hole in the xmember. You’ll get one from any fastener place or eBay etc.
