I was wondering if someone can tell me the reason why the short-lived 2012-2103 Corvette Daytona Prototype prototype racing car that competed in the North America Rolex series didn't progress further?
I believe it had something to do with the Pontiac brand being discontinued, but as it raced in ALMS, I wonder why GM went from the potential to seeing Corvette in the top tier to instead, bringing out the Cadillac DPi-V.R a few years later?
And YES - It still does bug me immensely not having Corvette in the top tier against their road rivals.
