Please yes I know it I sounds like dick but honestly it’s not funny
Anyone know of anywhere that repairs Driver Information Consoles.?
Any help is much appreciated

Is it the screen for DIC or the buttons to the right that do not work ?
Have you checked the fuse for that ?
Have you pushed the Gauges button a few times ?
Have you turned the little light knob on the left side of the dash to change the light level on DIC screen ?

Is it the screen for DIC or the buttons to the right that do not work ? Yes it’s the buttons I swapped them with another set but still it won’t work. The screen will show the corvette start up , then the mileage briefly ,then it says tire pressure but it has no tps fitted I have a set of new ones but useless until DIC works
Have you checked the fuse for that ? Yes
Have you pushed the Gauges button a few times ? Yes

What year C5 is this ?
When you swapped the DIC buttons module, did you check to assure its cable to the IPC (dash controller) was firmly plugged in and
do all the gauges for IPC work ?

Also check the fuses for the IPC

IPC is the Instrument Panel Cluster

Make sure you check both IPC fuses located in the panel next to the BCM under the hatch on passenger floor
I marked them, they are #19 & 25, both 10 amp fuses

Checked all the fuses and all ok but this is the fuse box
Someone has put these 2 bypasses in and I have no idea what they are for

What year/model is this ?

Under the cover for that fuse panel is a layout, looking at that, what 2 relays were taken out and jumpered ?

I assume you have a 97/98 C5 ?

If so, Relays 38 and 40 were removed to bypass relay function and hard jumper'ed
for daytime running lights, which is odd, as what was the purpose of doing so ?
Must be something required for Europe ?

Fuses 19 and 25 are for the IPC

Also for 2003 C5 38 & 40 were relays for daylight running lights
That was taken out and jumped so getting voltage directly

You would have to do an internet search, but here is one that repairs IPC and failures of the DIC

Keep in mind the car's mileage is kept in a I/C chip
If you have to replace yours, the repair shop has to move that chip to the other unit
if not, then mileage will be something else
