Hood liner

[Choosing a name is hard]

Any tips on cleaning the hood liner it has some white marks on it and i think it would be easy to make a mess of it if I scrub it with something too course

I would not use any type of brush as that liner is like felt pressed onto like cardboard
Any brushing would ruin how that felt looks

I have used a carpet stain & spot lifter on my C5 so just a light spray and then blot that up
Or a black dye used for clothes, but would test on a lower corner and see it the color matches

You can spray it with matt black barbecue paint, should come up a treat.
Probably any high temp matt paint would do, don't think it gets that hot under there.
