lcm5 fitment

A couple of years ago i had the dreaded steering lock issue and bought a lcm5.i have a 2000 c5 which i bought new ,low miles so reading up fitted the lcm5.All ok with no more issues but every time i use the car WAIT 10SECONDS PULL KEY comes up .This is really starting to annoy me ,can any members suggest a fix many thanks

I installed the Column Lock Bypass from Corvettes of Houston many years ago without any problems, at the time this was the way to go.
There's a thread on Corvette Forum in the US which seems to cover your issue, reading down though it there may be some useful info for you.

Have you done the brown wire modification ?
On my 2000 car I had to do this modification to get rid of this message

thankyou for that ,i dont think i had this paperwork with the lmc5 or maybe i did but thanks anyway will try when the appetite takes me
