See in the ad its both 50th Anniversay model and "Euro spec." Very nice! Wonder if it was originally UK (Vauxhall?) dealer supplied or has come to UK from mainland Europe? Either way, does the car have a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) document in the paperwork? If so, thats handy to have.
Hi, I have now picked up the car, and there was a lot of paperwork with it, including the declaration of conformity.
It looks like it was initially supplied in Germany and then exported directly to the UK for it's first owner, from what I can make out.

I wanted to close this thread out by putting a few pics of the Corvette in the thread.

I took delivery of the Corvette over the weekend, and drove in total 270 miles to get it back home.

Once I had got used to the LHD driving position and positioning the car correctly, I can honestly say that it was one of the easiest and most enjoyable drives I have had in any car, ever! Happy to also report that the car has been very well looked after and is in fantastic condition.

I also managed to average 28.5 (UK) mpg on the way back, which is way more than my previous 2 sports cars, so that's a really nice bonus. :)

Anyhow thanks to everyone in the club for their help answering my questions and pointing me in the right direction, and especially to Five Red for mentioning that car in the first place.

Have you checked the VIN # to see what GM updates were done, if not post it and I will check its history

Interesting, the whole cabin area of yours is the same color, parts of my 99 C5 have that same color but as you see it also has black
