COLTON - On Saturday, December 3rd at 2:44 AM, CHP, Colton Fire, and AMR, responded to a traffic collision with fire on the Eastbound 10 Freeway at Rancho Ave in Colton.
Units arrived at the scene and located a C7 Corvette with major damage and multiple other vehicles with damage.
The driver of the Corvette sustained minor injuries and was able to walk away from the crash.
According to witnesses, the Corvette was possibly racing at a high rate of speed with a white Corvette at the time of the collision.
The white Corvette did not stay at the scene.
It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collision. Parts of the Corvette were spread across the freeway for about 1/4 mile.
