hi everyone about to get the oil dropped etc etc 2007 c6 automatic paddle shift option . what diff oil should i be looking for also there seems to be a few posts on google about GM saying add a friction modifier ! i found this on EBAY UK but the seller is not being very helpful ebay item no in UK is 302556071931. does this seem the correct additive please . any input most appreciated. cheers

I have used for like 25 years on all my Corvettes for street and long-distance high-speed racing and holds up very well
Mobil I makes a diff gear lube that already have the anti slip additives in it
They also sell for the tranny and of course engine, all are synthetic so handle hot temps better

I used Motul Gear 300LS which also contains the additives. I was surprised the car actually felt smoother after changing the fluid - a simple preventative maintenance job. It is listed on Motul’s fluid finder for the Corvette and available from Opie and others.
