Oil leak

Hi,
I would like to buy a c5. I just went to see one 2004 60000miles. Everything looked fine, but the bottom of the engine was damp with oil and two drops were visible. The owner said the car was stood for about two weeks. When the car moved, there was a wet spot on the ground in that place and the size of an engine - but it wasn't fresh oil. Should I worry about it, or is it normal?
DIC was clear except low tyre pressure, but tyres was ok.
What are your thoughts?
Thank for help.

My 1999 C5 to this day has never leaked any fluids or oils. Nor should it, so No that is not nromal

Maybe you luck out, and it is only leaking from a bad oil filter gasket or filter is not tight enough
Look at see if any oil by oil filter on left side of bottom of engine

Also look to see if oil is shown below on either head as maybe a valve cover gasket leak
Else look to see if the PCV, or it's hoses that go from left to right heads and then to where PCV mounts on right front of engine
If it is the oil pan gasket of the engine that is a bitch to work on since the engine cradle is below it.
Nor is it easy if it is a crank seal

My C5, owned for more than decade, never let out one drop of oil. Have any "modifications" been made to the car you're looking at?

Early C5s had potentially leaky seals where the axles exit the differential, but that's a different subject altogether and your car is a later model.

They’re a proper modern car, I wouldn’t expect an oil leak, if you can’t find out where it’s from and budget accordingly it’s a risk.

Be a shame, being a 2004 that has fixed most of the GM TSBs of past C5 years
Hopefully something minor but OP needs to say which model and if any mods were done

I tried to take some photos, I'm not sure if it will be helpful, but thank you for everyone's opinion

No, it has no modifications other than borla exhaust
