One way to get a tow truck

Splendora, Texas police had their hands full on Thursday after a C7 Corvette driver was observed speeding over 150 mph in a 65 mph zone on US Highway 59.

A Facebook post from the City of Splendora Police Department shared a photo of the alleged speeder’s Black C7 Corvette being towed.
The report says the driver was arrested for Reckless driving after “swerving in between lanes, almost causing multiple wrecks.”
The unnamed driver was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

Talking of Tow Trucks, neighbour lost the keys to his rental car the other week. Long RAC recovery loader turns up but can't get close to it where it is parked. An hour later, one of these arrives to do the job. Not many in the country according to the operator/driver:

A neat bit of kit but looks a bit precarious to me ! Of course you could always get one of these for a heavier vehicle . This was the latest lifting operation at Loughborough last Thursday . 76 ton lift if you need it !!
