Prop shaft shortening and balancing

Evening all -

Long time, no post. Hope you're all well.

Quick question, one of my lockdown projects was to swap in a 700R4 in place of the original TH350. Early days, but all good so far, apart from one thing...

I have a slight 'rumble', which I _think_ might be prop shaft related. Had it shortened and balanced without the yoke, but I'm now wondering if the yoke should have been included as a matched pair for the balancing; someone I know (not a Vette owner) offered it up as a suggestion.

Has anybody actually done this, and can advise accordingly - would appreciate some first hand experience before I whip it off and take it to be redone.

I had one shortened and balanced and it was done with the yoke.

Did you check propshaft alignment, the yokes should be parallel even if not at the same height. Have a google for some diagrams it might explain it better than me.
