Here in the West I don't think we've had a day without rain for more than a week now and I'm getting a little depressed. If you're in the same boat perhaps you'll enjoy the same dose of schadenfreude that I found on YouTube.......?

It seems many drivers really do think that a fast drive through deep water is going to be no problem - would you try it?

Ah the West/Bristol area? Wonder how the wild animals are coping with all that rain? Was listening to Jack Dee a couple of weeks ago on Radio4 (showing my age there) down in Bristol. He was saying its so "Woke" down there now, that even the foxes are Vegan?

But above does remind me being in Taormina in Sicily in the 1980's and driving down the motorway on a very wet night towards Catania. The motorway was flooded at the bottom of a hill and a queue of stationary cars had formed, afraid to try and go thru the water. Then "Whoosh" a guy in Citroen CX with the suspension fully raised just passes everyone at speed on the outside lane and goes straight thru the water no problem!
