Sill guards

Hi, having just fitted a pair of new shiny sill covers to the vette, short of taping them up , how do you guys stop the new ones from getting scuffed whilst getting in and out of the car ? Had seen in the past some thick clear plastic film that vacuum stuck to bodywork to protect paintwork (eg , where the convertible hood used to rub on a c4) any ideas?👍TiA

I'd say treat the car like the classic it is and be careful getting in and out! You don't see scuffed door sills on a Derby Bentley, or a classic one of those awful red Italian things! :)

Perhaps because owners of Bentleys and Fezza's wear carpet slippers getting in to the car and change in to a pair of hand made Trickers driving shoes once onside? - or simply don't us the cars?
