Sitting in the sunshine

Thought I’d take the old 65 out for a little ride in the sun. Hasn’t been out for about 3/4 months, but started up easily and drove lovely. Then gave it a polish all ready for its hibernation. A bit like my sisters tortoise’s who went into hibernation today.680E2608-64DB-4128-A0F6-DCFA176EC802.jpeg7A0A63E1-302F-457F-83DC-DFBFDFEA430F.jpeg

I’ve always loved side pipes, they look so period nowadays. Was always surprised they were only a option on the C3’s as we now call them for only the 1969 model. Have had them fitted to many later C3’s over the years. Only original style ones tho. Used to like the old Thrush outsiders as well

Talking about side pipes, just found this old advert for the Thrush pipes, look at those prices back in the day.
