Spare and fixings

Has anyone found a replacement for the factory fitted space saver spare tyre ?
Dropped my one out yesterday and it appears original, nearly 40 years old and perished.
Size is T155/80D16 can't find this size listed anywhere, is it just a case of measuring it and getting the closest match ?
While I have all the rear lights out of the car I would like to renew all the corroded fixings, is there a UK source ?

Continental has the space saver tyres available, did my one on my 35th anniversary edition.

I had same thing on my 78, original & shot! Took it & the car to my local friendly tyre place. They found a tyre with same rolling diameter & width. They said it was a van tyre, but does the job & fits in the under tray.

That's what I was thinking of doing.

Local fitters tend to be much more helpful, mine certainly are. I bought Cooper WL tyres on tinternet, they came from Germany. The lads there were pleased to fit them at a very reasonable price. Think they liked the car, LOL

Same with mine. I also bought a set of whitewall tires from Germany for a mustang I was selling. They were only too pleased to help.
