Torq Thurst D Don’t Fit

Despite going into this in much detail my wheels arrived today and the rears won’t clear the brake calipers. Despite the backspace being the same the 10.5 rears are machined differently. Anyone experienced this?

So 15" diameter? - 10.5" wide? (Is this total width, outer edges) or inner rim where it fit tyre) - what is the backspacing? (Measurement from stud mounting inner face to innermost part of wheel rim) - where is the caliper fouling? - inner circumference of wheel rim? - or inner face of wheel/outer face side of caliper?

Fronts are 15x8.5 with 3 3/4 backspace, clears the outside face of the rear calliper.

Rears are 15x10 with 3 3/4 backspace they foul the outside face of the rear caliper (the two round lumps)

A 10mm spacer will give clearance but I don’t like them and obviously that’ll push the tyre out.

IT may of been in your thread "can you id these wheels"? I remember you saying the older tt's dont clear calipers. I have 6" and 7" on a C2 that clear and 7" + 8.5" that clear.

I found it, they’re your photos in the post above.

The 8.5 I’ve got are fine. But the 10 aren’t machined as much.

Thats really frustrating and ruins the excitement of new wheels. Hopefully you will sort it with spacers. They look very shiny in yr pic, they will look great on the car👍
