Window anti clank kit

Hi , anyone fitted the kit that stops the c3 windows clanking when you shut the door. Mine is fine when the window is fully up. Are they fitted by removing the door panel, and what does the kit consist of ?

Do you mean these felt buffers?.....



As far as I know they were a standard fitment on '69 to '82 cars. The door panel needs to be removed to fit or adjust them.

Yes, that looks like them, I didnt know if they were made as a fix but standard fit so maybe just worn out. Will track some down , thanks

Tried new ones, easy to fit but made little difference to the rattling noise when closing door. Maybe the adjustment was a bit off though. You may have better luck.

Typically the '68 cars have another thing "missing". My windows flop around happily. Meh.
