Spotted - RHD Corvette

Strange to relate that the power steering (rack and pinion) as installed in Mustang 11's was relatively world leading in terms of operation, servicability and 'feel'. It has since become the 'go to' application that most aftermarket hot rod and truck use for front end.

US Mail service tends to use RHD conversions to deliver mail in rural areas, allowing the driver to deliver/collect mail easily at the roadside mailbox for each home without getting out of the vehicle.

Check out some of these high-tech lovelies, Right Hand Drive (RHD) Kits

Wouldn’t have guessed, they always look nasty. I quite like the Fox body ones that came after.

Better yet a Holden Commodore, sold in UK as a Vauxhall VXR-8....complete with Corvette LS V8! (Always some for sale on P/Heads and A/Trdr)
No longer in production, unfortunately.
J.C. (1911)
P.S. To revert to the original subject, I know Tom Falconer converted at least one C3 to RHD some years ago. Not sure if he looks at this forum, but if he does, he may be able to add some detail.

Would like a Holden Torana A9X

If you get a chance watch some of the Australian Touring Car Masters on YouTube. Some of the best racing you’ll see.

Mustang 11 was odd contradiction of a vehicle. I loved them - why? - you had a car the size of a Cortina (Pinto based) with a V8 engine. Relatively luxurious interior yet handled and drove just like a 'floaty' full sized American car - the very antithesis of a Mustang being all wallowy, soft and smooth. Ok with (I think) 135 BHP it was not quite as quick as one would like but had bags of low end torque. Would light up the rugs easily.....

Never seen this one before:

Those wheels are hideous, did they nick them off a minivan?

I actually own this car now I was put in touch with the owner by Tom Falconer @ Claremont Corvette ..the previous owner painted it himself unfortunately it's quite obvious when you get close to it :)
I'm never intending on selling it , so the RHD conversion is a plus to me 👍

Late to the party here but it is mine!

I always wanted an RHD after having seen some great Aussi example. Make overtaking in the UK a but easier to. It is a 62 but once I decided to change it over I also fitted the spears I preferred the 62 fins. It is a full rack and pinion conversion with electric power assistance.

He may have produced more than one - I may be wrong with my memory but I think a soft nose Silver Vert C3

There was also a yellow RHD, I think C4, that passed through Claremont Corvette a few years ago
