I have booked my 3 day ticket , just hope i don`t have to spend it inside a hermetically sealed plastic bubble due to any Covid restrictions :(

How do areas on the outside of the track get called Infield? Isnt that a contradiction?
Thats like putting St Albans in the Greater London Low Emissions Zone despite it being outside the M25.

"Infield " display area has always been an over generalisation used by the Classic organisers as much of the display areas are not actually in the Infield but outside the Infield of the circuit . It`s a bit like the UK governments Covid policies when it comes to ambiguity on a grand scale . Area 14 is just more outfield than the other outfield "infield" areas ! Are you still with me or totally confused ?
As an aside to all this , is anyone in the area local to the circuit available on the Thursday afternoon to help me set up the club display with gazebo , flags , banners and bunting etc . I will collecting all the club display gear from Mike Lacey after the Nationals Weekend and transporting it all to the Circuit on the Thursday for set up so everything is in place ready for the three days . I am awaiting receipt Set Up Vehicle Access passes and Set Up Crew wrist bands from the event organisers . Help would be much appreciated .

Thursday 29th July.. afaik i could Tesla my way up there.
Im not doing the event itself but from the sound of it the 'set up' passes are independent of the event tickets so should be ok.
How big is this 'Gazebo'?.. is it a Circus Big Top Gazebo?.. Have you hired a 40ft trailer to collect it?
I only have experience of putting up a Marquee with my Bike Club.

Thanks for the offer Derek . I guess you will be at Sharnbrook on Sunday so can discuss more then . Fitting the Gazebo in the Grand Cherokee is not the problem , it`s two performing elephants , a high wire act and half a dozen clowns that`s worrying me . :ROFLMAO:

Thanks for answering about the infield location ..I did wonder when I looked at the somewhat confusing location map attached . Wrist bands have not arrived with me yet they will probably arrive on Saturday morning when I am not home ! Has anyone received their E tickets for entry yet ?

Hi Sarah , no E tickets arrived yet but not unusual with more than two weeks to go . Is there any chance you can contact the organisers to ask if we are on grass or hardstanding . From the site plan you posted I have a feeling from memory of that area that where they show a line of 18 CCCUK spaces it is on hard standing which will be no use for the gazebo and flag poles etc . Is 18 cars our top turn out ?

Apologies all round . Having studied the plan more closely and the cartographic symbols used for graded banking , I think we are on grass . (y)

Here's a question I hope somebody can answer.

I should be at the Classic all three days but it will be courtesy of my brother & his sports car club.

On one day though, I hope to take my Corvette instead of his car.

Given the CCCUK location I can see I access it with his pass as he will be with me.

My question is, are the club happy for me to park my Corvette there on the club stand area or will there not be space?

Thanks in advance.

Can see a problem. Space is allocated on the basis of ticket sales but I'm sure one more can be squeezed in.
