Steering column removal

Hi all,
Can you remove the adjustable steering column without a puller?
My steering collumn from the ignition and signal switch upwards has been wobbley and now while replacing the dash it's clunked and is now Pointing upwards. I want to strip it down to find out what the problem is.
I have no idea what I'm doing but am trying to enjoy doing it myself.....regretting that decision šŸ˜‚
Any advice would be apprecited!

These papers tell you everything you need to know. They are pretty intimidating on first read, but make sense as you take the column apart. You might not need to go very far, if the problem is just the adjustment of the tilt/tele mechanism.

Excellent cheers. Looks like I'll need to get myself that puller kit!

I've got a puller I fabricated just for the Saignaw column, I can send you one if you just cover the postage? You may need a puller for other jobs so a universal one would be handy to have but its an option for you?
