Hi all
Another question I’m afraid,I have just watched a video about a 1981C3 and the chap opened the door and a buzzer sounded!!Now my question is what should you do to activate and stop the said buzzer as I don’t recall any buzzer going off in my car no matter what I may or may not of inadvertently done.As mine is a 1979 car and the one in question was a 1981 model I am wondering if mine may not have one! Any thoughts are welcome thanks
Regards Nige

Does the buzzer sound if you open the door with the lights on? It should, but you can silence it by turning the light switch all the way anti-clockwise, to put out the panel lights, for, say leaving the side lights on when the car is parked . Also, it should sound if you start the car without the driver's seat belt in place.
But, they are a bit temperamental! On the '78 the buzzer is attached to the fuse box and it's all too easy to "kick" it! Ours sometimes does what it is supposed to, sometimes it doesn't!
