So, I'm in Hampshire, I'm looking at restoring my C3. Can anyone recommend any companies out there that can do the paint work, I am particularly concerned about them working with fibreglass and I know it doesn't necessarily be a corvette specialist.

Mechspray are in Kent (Rochester I believe) - been around for years and have done many CCCUK members cars - there is also Custom Exotics, originally based in Harlow, Essex (have moved premises) also have done a good many CCCUK members cars.
And you do really want someone who is experienced with earlier Corvettes - bodywork is mostly pressure mounded glass-fibre........whereas 'other' glass fibre vehicles may be of 'laid-up' construction. Both systems have their very own 'quirks' which can effect longevity of the final finish.

Seem to remember we were talking about the cost of a top quality/show winning paint job a while back? Cant find the thread. Think circa £12-14k was mentioned? Pension Fund raid money? Depends on the state of the car obviously?
