Tyres

I have a 1993 c4 it has American racing wheels on it. Tyres on it need replacing
On it at the moment are
Rear. 285/40ZR17 100y
Front 255/45ZR17
Are these correct looking online and visiting a tyre shop I am starting to think these tyres are hand woven from unicorn tears

Looks like a mixed set up for racing, both the C4s I have had were fitted with 275x40x17 all round. Have you tried Black Circles, I have used them for years, on line ordering which includes fitting at any local tyre place that is registered with them. I changed all 4 tyres on my 95 a year ago for £424, fitting Nankang Sportnex, as a daily driver I wanted tyres with good grip all year round, and these do. If your not 'precious' about branding I'd go for them.

What brand of tyres have you got on those wheels at the mo? What width are the wheels? Wider at the back than the front?

That does look like good value for money, considering the Michelin Pilot Sport 2s are £450.65 "each" :ROFLMAO:

Just ordered a couple of new tyres today for my daily driver from local chain Merit Tyres in Surrey. They dont even have a 275/40/17 on their website.
