Talking about colours, would you say altering/changing the colour from original to another devalues the car in any way/shape/form ? The majority of people seem to think it does.
Me, I think it depends on the car. Certainly on C2’s as colour is noted , C1’s didn’t have that feature so no way of telling original colour. There are now more 56-61 red with white cove corvettes around nowadays than Chevrolet built. 😂 ( same with 427ci C2’s)
I am not bothered myself. I paint it what I want really. Not what next person wants.

I wasn't bothered about the colour devaluing my car when I had it painted, as I never intend to sell it and my son is adamant that he is having it when I die!

Also got invited to a small meet with some Camaro lads. Cant down load vids on here without doing a You Tube thing.

Been a good couple of days for it. I will get around to polishing it, the G3 swirls show up in certain light. Still its no show car and used as mcuh as possible.

Looks great, it’s crying out for some white lettered tyres tho. They look so good on C3’s
Maybe when j get new ones. I like them to. I ahbnt actually checked the age on these. I wouldn't think there no good though as the previous owner looked after it well.

When polishing up a car, people often miss or don’t do their tyres which overall lets the finished image down.
Wheels / tyres are the eyes of the car.
They should be bright and shiny.

I think the chrome/stainless trim looks good. Matches the windscreen pillers and T-Top trim, plus shiny side pipes and once polished up, the factory aluminium mags.
I like a bit of bling.
