Talking about colours, would you say altering/changing the colour from original to another devalues the car in any way/shape/form ? The majority of people seem to think it does.
Me, I think it depends on the car. Certainly on C2’s as colour is noted , C1’s didn’t have that feature so no way of telling original colour. There are now more 56-61 red with white cove corvettes around nowadays than Chevrolet built. 😂 ( same with 427ci C2’s)
I am not bothered myself. I paint it what I want really. Not what next person wants.

I wasn't bothered about the colour devaluing my car when I had it painted, as I never intend to sell it and my son is adamant that he is having it when I die!

Likewise , my petrol head daughter claims my Vette will be hers when I pop off !! Plus she loves the colour too !
