Some of the comments are comedy gold..

"Ran when parked"

"Will you be doing a driving video?"

And from the seller, it was in a yard and the family dog with a taste for fibreglass chewed the front off it

It will definitely be resurrected with a complete new history, detailing a very cosseted history, all backed up with impeccable paperwork.

A lot more imaginative than “ the dog ate my homework”

Wow, it made $70k. Yes, you certainly have to admire these people that take on these “wrecks”. Either very capable with their restoration skills or very wealthy who just hand it to someone and say fix it. Either way, good on them.

That's crazy 70k for not much left of a wreck. Still, its good its being restored and will look fab when done as everything will be nice.

The ALL important trim and vin tags. Complete window trims and hopefully and most probably original glass.
Doubt it would have made £52k in the UK, but Americans love of the corvette is endless.

Why would anyone (even with half a brain) advertise on Craigslist in UK?.......when there are better and more genuine platforms to search on.
It seems that link was for London Ontario but same caution applies. Craigslist in UK never took off except with the scammers.

MYM was bidding up to 50k I think. The seller in the after sale comments said the buyer is planning on a restoration to original specs so unless he has a stock of free parts he'll be well under water in no time. Maybe money is of no concern and he just wants a project? Hope we get to see it when underway or finished.
