Looking to hire a C3

Hi all, I'm searching for somewhere I can hire a C3 from for a day, or maybe 2 for my wife's 50th Birthday.
She is the least petrol-head person I know, but I think growing up watching the "A"-Team has left an impression and she absolutely loves this era of Corvette!
I've searched the internet and there aren't many available at all, and those that are seem to be for film hire only, or come with a driver, or need a second mortgage to hire!
I have left an enquiry with Webbs of Weybridge, but apart from that I've drawn a blank. Is there anybody out there that knows of someone or would be prepared to rent a C3 to a careful driver (owner of other classics, no points etc. etc.) for a day?

Hello and welcome. Sounds like a lovely present for a 50th. It might be worth putting roughly where you and live, and approximate date on here as well to see if anyone is nearby.

I'm based in the East Midlands but appreciate with so few of these cars on the road that I'll probably have to travel!
Her birthday is 20th May, so any time after that would work, I'm happy to wait as long as I need to.

Quite far from me as I'm in the south west. I do have a 1968 C3, but wrong era Corvette for an A-Team reference. Face's Corvette was an early C4 from 1984 I believe.

Wow, that shows how observant I'm not!!
C3s have the style she likes best, but either generation has that certain style that she really loves, and would be over the moon to experience.
I really had the "A" team as being earlier than 1984, maybe because of the reference to the Vietnam war in the opening sequence?

Yes, it was still a pretty popular subject for tv and films around that time, I suppose I was trying to find an excuse for my brain thinking it was released earlier than it was. 1980 vs 1984 was about half the time I'd been alive!
