Dates for two of the big three at Tatton Park are now out.

This is a free to enter show that includes over 2,000 cars and assorted vehicles and loads of trade stands.

Morton's send me the tickets for me to distribute to members wishing to attend and I'll ask that question as the event nears.

Welcome to our club!

For the last 5 or 6 years I made the application for all passes for the three shows at Tatton including Stars & Stripes which I then distributed to members. Mortons were always great with us but last year they were bought out by Kelsey Media and things have changed and not for the better. This weekend is the first of the three shows - Classic & Performance where we had the same ticket deal. This time they withdrew our club stand and said we had to apply for private individual entries. To my knowledge we were granted just five passes out of 40 applications. I was granted a pass and with the pass comes details of the layout and where the pass allows you to park. It was clearly evident there were far more vendors who have to pay to be there and fewer display vehicles. I was assured our club stand was safe for S&S but when I enquired they said make private entries again and that is where we're at right now not knowing who will be accepted and who will be rejected. We once had 56 Corvettes at Stars & Stripes but I think those days are long gone with the new show owners. Have you made a private entry? I think applications are now closed.

Some NW members are going to Cleveley car show on Sunday including some that did get passes for the Tatton show this coming weekend. A protest if you will..

Keep in touch re; S&S as I often end up with spare passes.

Thanks for the heads up. Iv made a private entry now as it still looked open. But fingers crossed you guys end up with a stand, or atleast a lot of entries accepted.
Im also looking at the US Autoshow at Outlon park in August as another big american event, so if you guys have something going on there id be interested. Couldnt see an entry on the calendar for that one.

We are attending the American racing at Oulton and I think so far there is 20 of us registered via the MSV website.

It's a simple process but when you think you have completed the application, you haven't you have to put it in your shopping basket and check out even even though it is free entry.

Hi Stuart

Thank you for applying to display your vehicle at the U.S. AutoShow event at Oulton Park.

Our team will review your application and notify you shortly on whether you have been successful. In the meantime, if you have any queries please contact us at events@msv.com.
Package(s) Selected:

Edit to add, Alan Bradley has organised this event so any issues contact him events@corvetteclub.org.uk
