Good morning all, i am after some advice for a radio upgrade. My 67 Coupe has the original ACDelco radio, which doesnt work in Europe?
I want to change it to a modern type unit but to keep the original look.
Any ideas, or what has everyone done.
There’s a guy in Bristol called Adrian who replaces the guts of the radio and installs an external input. He did mine about 10 years ago. At a guess he will probably now offer some sort of Bluetooth modification as well. His email address was member@radios.freeserve.co.uk
I think I used him, I remember he was in Bristol. He rebuilt my 1960 vette’s wonderbar and the town and country radio in my 1957 thunderbird. Was totally pleased with both jobs.
When I say rebuilt them I mean converted them to FM modern spec etc. Bluetooth wasn’t about when he done mine, but I’m sure he offers that option now.
I’ve just remembered that he did a Bluetooth conversation on my 66 Mustang Fastback as well. He uses conversion kits that are readily available in the US.
