1969 Corvette Stingray T‑Top – £19,950
I’ve owned this Corvette for 11 years, and in that time my focus has been to improve the way the car drives. It has been a joy to own but now is the time to allow someone else to enjoy the car.
The main improvements I’ve made to the car include:
Power brakes — so much better than the standard brakes it came with
Composite rear spring — better ride, better handling
Steering fully overhauled — tracks straight and feels tight
Cherry Bomb back boxes — sounds glorious
New seats, handbrake, fuel sender + gauge, vacuum system
New central wiring loom
New battery with isolator
New mirrors, door pulls, wiper switch + blades
The car was last serviced in Feb 2026.
Current milage is 89700.
The car is a joy to drive and gets attention everywhere.
It’s a 57‑year‑old car, so it’s not perfect. Here’s the honest list:
Some microblistering on the rear
Not matching numbers
A few paint cracks/chips
Some gauges not working (clock, oil pressure, temp, battery)
Air‑con missing but many parts included in the sale
Door card chips
T‑Top seals can leak — full new seal kit included (rear window seal already fitted)
Included in the sale are some ‘extras’ that I’ve collected
Full seal kit
Air‑con parts
Original rear leaf spring
Original exhaust back boxes
Original rear‑view mirror
The insurance valuation of the car is £26,500 and the Car and Classic valuation is £21,000. I’m asking £19,950 ono.
The car is located near Glasgow — video call viewing available.
Apologies for the limited number of pictures, however, the CCCUK website seems to have a limit on file size. I have lots of pictures so please send me your email address and I will provide many more.
