1987 Callaway on BAT

There’s a Red 1987 callaway coupe on BAT auctions. Wrong wheels, but otherwise complete. Calloway’s are getting rare and quite pricey nowadays.

I don’t think Dumags were a option in 1987. 1988 onwards I think. Would have had standard 1987 wheels, the wheels on it are 84/85.

Always fancied one since I first saw Brian Neighbours black coupe. Even more so when he had the Aerobody fitted. Only thing is I don’t like manual and most of them are. Automatics are very rare to come by.

Yes. They possibly were a bit too complex for some being twin turbo, and the extra cost for the B2K option was horrendous.
very nearly bought David Lloyds Aqua coupe after he sold it to a friend of mine in 1992/3. Both the Lloyd brothers bought a callaway coupe in 1991. Just couldn’t get used to manual. Shame as I loved the Color, and the uniqueness of a callaway.
