Hello all! I’ve moved house near Southampton so found a garage that will service my Vette but they don’t seem to have much luck with sourcing the required spares. Can anyone please recommend a reliable place where to find the spares nearby or know of a local garage that does all this near me?

I’m after the following : -

Air Filter
Cabin/Pollen Filter
Fuel Filter
Oil Filter
Oil

Also need : -

4x Drop links and covers
2x Front Brake Pads

Many thanks in advance for your help. : )

Keep in mind for the C5
The fuel filter is part of the fuel regulator, so be sure the one you're buying is a combined unit
and not just a filter
It is mounted on the left rear frame and just requires a cheap tool to remove the 3 fuel lines

Here is a new spare one looks like I have for my '99 C5

I Would go straight to rockautos for all those parts normally here within 3 days!! that might not be the right fuel filter pictured as some of the earlier c5 vettes run a return style fuel system rather than the regulated return less style that uses the shown filter better to double check to see if you have 1 or 2 lines running to the drivers side plastic cover

We can sell you a set of four top quality Stateside sway bar links for a total of £30 plus £6 postage if that helps.

Federal US law via EPA required all 1996 and newer cars to no longer have a fuel return to the tank to prevent gas fumes escaping into the air. OPs C5 says he has a 1998

Be simple for the OP, look on the left side end of fuel rail, IF it has a regulator and 2 gas lines back to the tank than he would know so and order just a fuel filter

If not than his 98 is just like my 99 whereas I posted above is on frame rail in the back near tank

On this subject and that rockauto
I in fact some years ago ordered from them for the price over $75 for a 1999 C5 fuel filter/regulator and
the F'ers took 2 weeks to ship and sent me a $10 plastic POS fuel filter only

Certainly don't want to start a row over this but again the original poster needs to take a look under his hood I really don't care what your American law states and it might be totally correct for cars over there but we actually own an early registered 99 vette here (98 chassis number) and that is running a return style system so again the original poster needs to double check this we font normally see the single style fuel feed system till the 99/2000 registered cars over here esp if they were for the European Market which ours is (originally European import) what happens in the USA isn't always what happens over here 👍👍👍👍👍

Rock auto don't actually sell a 3 way fuel filter for a 98 vette only 99 onwards but as said please check this by having a quick look ,ordered loads of stuff from rock always been correct and always faster than I have got from nearly all UK sellers (mainly due to our rubbish post system lol )

Go back and reread my other post as I told the OP to check the back of the fuel rail to assure he is ordering the right parts

Ever think the OPs 98 was not a Corvette export, thus has the American required filter/regulator ?
Also, best to know exactly which fuel parts it or any C5 in the UK, and they are either selling it to someone in the USA or is moving to the USA and finds out then which fuel makeup their Corvette has to pass EPA required fuel changes and be able to pass the required tests here ?

What a forum is about is when subjects like this come up, for all to learn something they had not thought of to
help others not knowing about this, but do now

In this case, the OP knows to look at fuel rail to know for sure if they need just a fuel filter or a filter/regulator type

I have re read your 1st post and you have clearly told the op that he needs the 3 way fuel filter this is not correct and all I am saying is please don't hand out advice unless your very sure your correct the op could have clearly ordered the incorrect item due to your image and you have only suggested looking under hood after I said that could be incorrect!!!

Agree with the above recommendations for Rock Auto, also Keith at Eurovettes will have alot of parts already in the UK (especially service items). Worth asking him as you'll save on postage potentially.
