70 Seat adjustment

Just wondered if anyone had found a way of adjusting the seat rake on a 70? I find them a little bit too laid back for longer distance driving. I've contemplated spacing the back bolts but I don't see this as a satisfactory solution. Anyone got over this ? I'm 5ft 11inch so not exactly a short ass.

My other half is 4' 10" tall and always complains about being unable to see over the dash top when out with me in the '68 (not that often tbh). I simply carry a spare 1/2" drive socket in the car that just slips over one of the back-stop adjusters - its a quick bodge, but raises the seat back a couple of inches.

The seat back on the 70-78 has an adjuster on the seat base and also on the back rest. I am about the same height and had no problems.
Regrettably I have had to dispose of my '78 but I do have a new set of the adjusters - Corvette Central part # 483214 if that helps?
