ABS sensors

Hi,
After almost having heart failure after seeing both the traction control and abs lights come on (2000 model) I have narrowed the problem down to the FL wheel sensor, by code 1323c and cross wiring to the rear sensor.
What I was wondering is do I have to replace the whole bearing assembly, or can the sensor be replaced? and if so where is a good source.
I have spotted one on amazon at £46 + shipping, but must this be a cheap chinese knock off?

Thanks for any advice

GM states :

Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement - Front

The front wheel speed sensors are integral with the hub and bearing assemblies.
If a speed sensor needs replacement, you must replace the entire hub and bearing assembly.
Do not try to service the harness pigtail individually because the harness pigtail is part of the sensor.

Rockauto has for about $70 US as an example

But I would suggest before doing that good possibility it might be the wiring so check it closely and the wiring connector
As some rock or something might hit and damage them

Many thanks team zr1
I was hoping initially that it maybe wiring, as when I investigated the clip had come off and the wire was hanging down.
However I have put a multimeter on and cannot get an ohms reading, or voltage when I spin the hub.
I have also connected the front sensor to the rear wiring which gives a rear fault code, and conected the rear sensor to front wiring which then only reports a historic code.
I have closely inspected the short wiring on the sensor which appears OK, so I am pretty sure it is the sensor, or maybe the last bit of wire going into the hub.
I will see if I can find one in the UK as shipping from US seem quite prohibitive.
