AC Refrigerant

My 95 AC not running right, doesn't cool (not that it's a problem at the moment in this weather!) Gone thru fault finding, all codes good, so guessing it's a refrigerant problem. What type is used for this year, hoping it's not the old, now banned R12 type. I believe the refrigerant used today is R32 or 34.

Thanks all, looking on line about R134a, this appears to be ok today, Halfords sells recharge kits using this, but I think I would take the car in to the place I use for all Vette work, they specialise is US cars, and often have Vettes in there.

There are low cost kits that would allow converting your A/C system to use a newer type of Freon gas.
I did this myself on my 1993 Cadillac, vacuumed/purged the system out and then put in the newer approved Freon
