Adding Power Steering to a RHD C2

A friend and NW member bought the red convertible '63 Corvette that has a right hand drive conversion. She is adamant she has to fit power steering and has reached out to me to see a) which type to go with and b) do I foresee and issues in getting it done (by a garage).

Mine are all factory PS except the red 66 which has Steeroids fitted (which is awesome btw) so it's not something I have experience with. So Steeroids is an option and the other popular one is Borgson I guess. Anyone experienced with fitting after market PS that can see any pitfalls in doing a conversion please?

Nice! This one with the Ruudspeed RHD conversion?

That's the one. I did the inspection as I was in the Cotswolds over a weekend so not that far from where the car was stored.

I got it down to 45k as it did need a few things sorting out besides installing PS.

The Ramjet is a nice bit of kit

Thanks Pete, I did look for Ruddspeed but didn't find them so thought maybe they don't exist anymore. I've emailed them and asked if they can confirm it can be done and if they can supply the parts.

Hi Stuart - That phone # for Ruddspeed is the same as the AC Heritage/Brooklands Speed/Brooklands Cars guys. They restore all sorts of expensive classics in their workshop at the top of the test hill at Brooklands Motor Museum.
