One could argue that black or white pallettes aren't really colours at all in the true sense. Black and White are the opposite ends of the colour spectrum.......yet black could also be described as being no colour at all if light isn't present........whereas white is the extreme opposite and an extreme amount of intense light would swamp all other colours and make many appear a shade of white.
