Especially if you are called "Pam." Is that the Ford or Volvo engine?

Was my "dream car" back in the day (Chrome yellow please) as an impoverished student, along with the E Type of course.

Only just spotted this thread as was on holiday in Vienna the week it hit the forum . Being a 3.0 Litre GT it will have or should have the Ford Essex V6 engine if still original spec with Webber carbs giving 144 bhp at 4,759 rpm that gave a performance that gave the Jaguar E Type a close run . As a 1969 Marcos it will have a marine ply wood chassis which was actually more rigid and lighter than the later steel space frame cars . `PAM` looks like an expensive project but would produce a stunning and rare car . Nice to see it has retained its original period alloy wheels .
Like Chevrolet it was my " dream car" as a boy too , even more than an E Type due to its low sleek styling . Having driven early models in later life , I decided to go for a later model car with Independent Rear Suspension that improved the ride quality no end , plus available as a soft top Marcos at Top Gear.jpgwith V8 power too of course . 'Er indoors is a follower and believer of the Marcos 'brand'..........hang-on, got that wrong........it was Imelda Maros, wife of former Phillipines President, yes 'er indoors was impressed by Imelda 3000 no. shoe collection........she didn't stand a chance against another woman with a state funded footwear budget.

AI Overview
Imelda Marcos, wife of former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, was known for her large collection of shoes. It's estimated that she owned around 3,000 pairs. Many of these shoes were discovered in the presidential palace after the Marcos family was ousted in 1986. Some of the shoes were later displayed at the Marikina Shoe Museum.

A close enough mistake to make . 3000 pairs of shoes and 3000 cc`s in the 1969 Marcos GT :ROFLMAO:
