The auction circus know as Barrett Jackson is back in town. The palm beach auction kicks off today.
Looking through the docket shows a very wide range of vehicles, even FIAT 500’s
There’s a 1985 C4 with an extremely rare Larry Shinoda body kit.
A nice looking 1987 C4 convertible with 28k original miles.
Everything usually makes top money, so it’s very unusual to get a bargain here I’m afraid.

Well, another successful auction by BJ. I did have a bid on something but it went beyond what I was willing to pay.

Supercar Saturday was a fantastic success, see below for the editorial.

Lot #747 – 2016 Pagani Huayra – SOLD! $3,190,000

Supercars made Super Saturday, presented by Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, truly super on Day 3 of the 2026 Palm Beach Auction. A new chapter of Barrett-Jackson history written as the three‑day event at the South Florida Fairgrounds shattered records, with 80 coveted pieces of automobilia and nearly 200 show‑stopping collector vehicles crossing the block on the final day. Leading the charge at the 100% sell-through event was a 2016 Pagani Huayra, which commanded an astounding $3.19 million, becoming the highest‑selling auction car in the Palm Beach Auction’s 23-year history. The momentum continued as a 2025 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale sold for $1.87 million, earning its place as the second‑highest Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach sale of all time. Rounding out an unforgettable top three was a 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista, delivering a thrilling $819,500 finish and cementing Super Saturday as a day defined by performance and prestige.

Among all the high-energy action, there was no shortage of moving moments. Florida state senator Tom A. Wright joined Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, on the block for the special sale of a 1979 Porsche 911 SC. Donated by Wright and fellow Florida state senator Jason Pizzo, the vehicle was sold to benefit Space Coast Honor Flight, an organization devoted to honoring Vietnam, Korean War and World War II veterans by taking them to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials built in their honor. The moment resonated even more profoundly when NASCAR team owner and longtime friend of Barrett-Jackson Rick Hendrick bid from the heart, raising $100,000 in support of the organization and the heroes it serves.

Hendrick continued to support our nations hero’s by securing the winning $1 million bid on the day’s second car for a cause: a 2026 GM Defense ISV‑Utility. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as the military vehicle crossed the block, with 100% of the hammer price benefiting the Medal of Honor Foundation. As those in the arena enthusiastically waved American flags, four Medal of Honor recipients took to the stage for the meaningful charity sale, including David Bellavia, U.S. Army Staff Sergeant (Ret.), and Kyle Carpenter, U.S. Marine Corps Corporal (Ret.), the youngest living Medal of Honor recipient. They were joined by the nation’s newest living Medal of Honor recipients, Terry Richardson and Matt Williams, both U.S. Army Command Sergeants Major (Ret.).

Take a look at the gallery above to see the day’s top-selling automobilia, collector cars and auction action from around the South Florida Fairgrounds. We look forward to seeing you at the inaugural Columbus Auction, June 25-27 at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds.
