Just heard the tragic news that two firefighters and a member of public died yesterday evening in a huge fire at Bicester Motion in Bicester , Oxfordshire . Many CCCUK members have attended the hugely popular classic car gatherings and Scrambles on this old WW2 Air base that is now a hub for many classic car restoration businesses . p0lbkdwj.jpg

Strange events....... perhaps originated in a paint shop. Only a couple of weeks ago a major fire at the historic Old Sarum airfield destroyed a couple of hangars.

I was at the Scramble a couple of weeks ago and not sure what goes on in that building as I don`t think it is one normally open to the public . From the photo you can see it is one of the buildings nearer the main entrance to the site rather than the side facing the airfield as you can see the new Bicester Motion building in the background ( the grey one ) that is under construction and looks very impressive when you drive past it .
I heard about Old Sarum , was it arson or an accident ? Hope it`s not catching as Sywell might be next ! :eek:
