A special show for the 50th Anniversary of this club, in association with the Sir Jackie Stewart foundation " race against dementia " In the grounds of Thirlestane Castle a fantastic background for this show. Sir Jackie should be there along with many faces from the world of motorsport. 1200 + classics on display, including memorabilia of Sir Jackie. a timed hillclimb. parades food stalls and auto jumble. A great show for all the family.

What a day, this is always a big show but with the event in support of Sir Jackie Stewart's excellent 'Race Against Dementia Foundation' it was massive. The legend himself signed autographs for the many who queued to have the privilege, engaging with all, later even driving one of his previous race cars to the delight of everyone present, including Lady Stewart.
The CCCUK North East Region presented 12 very nice Corvettes with our usual club stand embellishment including signs, flags, bunting, gazebo, information station etc, so much so it caught the eye of a film crew making a documentary for the 'Discovery Channel'. They spent a good while filming on our stand so 'watch this space'.
A good day out albeit a very expensive one for many due to distance & cost of petrol these days, all in a good cause though.
